Project Detail
Owl Partnerships were proud to deliver 34 affordable homes at Broadway Lane, Fladbury, working in partnership with Rooftop Housing to create a thoughtfully designed development that responds to local housing need while respecting the character of the village.
Situated on the southern edge of Fladbury, the scheme was brought forward as a rural exception site, enabling the delivery of affordable homes in an area where opportunities for local people to access housing can be limited. From the outset, Owl Partnerships worked closely with Rooftop Housing and the local authority to shape a development that would sit comfortably within its surroundings and support the long-term sustainability of the community.
The completed development provides a low-density mix of homes designed to complement the village setting while creating opportunities for younger people, families and first-time buyers to remain within the area. By increasing the availability of affordable housing, the scheme helps strengthen the local community and supports future generations who may otherwise be priced out of the village.
Careful consideration was given to the layout and design of the development, ensuring the homes reflect the rural character of Fladbury while providing modern, energy-efficient living spaces for residents.
Delivered in partnership with Rooftop Housing, the scheme demonstrates how rural exception sites can play an important role in addressing local housing demand, providing homes that meet community needs without compromising the qualities that make villages such desirable places to live.
Located within easy reach of local amenities, schools and community facilities, the development offers residents the benefits of village life while maintaining strong connections to nearby towns including Pershore, Evesham and Worcester.
Together, Owl Partnerships and Rooftop Housing have created a development that not only delivers much-needed affordable homes, but also helps ensure Fladbury remains a thriving and balanced community for years to come.
