Owl Partnerships delivered 100 affordable homes at Loughborough Road, Leicester, transforming 4.65 acres of former warehouse land into a vibrant new residential community.

Delivered in partnership with Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA), the development represents Owl Partnerships’ largest all-affordable housing scheme to date. The project has brought a previously underutilised brownfield site back into productive use, creating much-needed homes while contributing to the continued regeneration of the local area.

Owl Partnerships secured the site with outline planning permission before working closely with NCHA and the local authority to develop a design that reflects the character of the surrounding neighbourhood while meeting the needs of modern living. The team subsequently secured reserved matters approval, enabling the delivery of a thoughtfully planned development that integrates seamlessly with its surroundings.

The scheme provides a range of affordable homes designed to support a broad mix of residents, helping to meet growing housing demand across Leicester. Careful consideration was given to the layout, appearance and public realm, creating a place that feels connected to the existing community while providing high-quality homes for future residents.

Located on the Loughborough Road corridor, the development benefits from excellent access to local amenities, schools, employment opportunities and transport connections, making it an attractive and sustainable place to live.
