Project Detail
Owl Partnerships is delivering 45 affordable homes at the former Henry Mellish School site on Kersall Drive, Nottingham, bringing a vacant brownfield site back into use after more than 15 years.
Delivered in partnership with Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) and Nottingham City Council, the development forms part of a wider £23 million regeneration project across two neighbouring sites in Bulwell, creating much-needed affordable housing for the area.
Known as Maple Fields, the Henry Mellish development will provide a mix of two and three-bedroom homes available through shared ownership and social rent, helping to meet growing local housing demand while creating a sustainable new community.
The homes are being constructed to achieve a minimum EPC A-rating and will utilise closed panel timber frame construction, supporting improved energy efficiency, lower carbon emissions and reduced running costs for future residents.
Together with the neighbouring Piccadilly playing field scheme, Owl Partnerships is acting as lead contractor in delivering a total of 102 affordable homes across the two sites.
