Waltonbrook Officially Opens with Help from Local Schoolchildren

We were delighted to officially open our latest Owl Homes development, Waltonbrook, with the help of pupils from Burton on the Wolds Primary School and Cllr. Robert Shields, Chair of Burton on the Wolds Parish Council.

Thirteen enthusiastic pupils joined Cllr. Shields and their headteacher, Claire Wilson, to cut the ribbon at our new collection of homes, located on the southern edge of this picturesque Leicestershire village. The children were also treated to a tour of our stunning Larkspur showhome, beautifully styled in a warm Scandinavian design by Edward Thomas Interiors.

Headteacher Claire Wilson said:

“The children had a fantastic time at the Waltonbrook launch, where they were able to learn about how new homes are built, designed and sold. A highlight was touring the showhome, where their favourite room was the Minecraft-themed bedroom! They were also delighted to be given goody bags by the Owl Homes team, which was a thoughtful keepsake to remember the day.”

Comprising a carefully designed collection of 66 one to four-bedroom homes, Waltonbrook has been created to appeal to a wide range of buyers — from first-time homeowners and growing families to those looking to downsize.

Owl Group Managing Director – East Midlands, Mike Kelly, commented:

“This opening marks a significant milestone for Owl Homes, and I’d like to extend my thanks to Cllr. Shields, Claire Wilson and all the children for helping us celebrate. Burton on the Wolds has such a strong village spirit, and we’re thrilled to bring our signature homes to a location that perfectly blends town and country living — you could say new residents will be making a very wise move!”

Interest in Waltonbrook has been exceptional, with almost all viewing appointments booked within the first 24 hours of release.

Grace Potts, Sales Manager at Owl Homes, added:

“We’re looking forward to welcoming our first house hunters this weekend. Visitors can explore the Larkspur showhome, enjoy complimentary coffee and cakes from The Peaky Grinder, and chat with our expert sales consultants. Those making a reservation will also receive a premium welcome pack with exclusive vouchers towards extras and upgrades.”
