Owl Group grows presence in Midlands with a hat trick of land acquisitions

Owl Group, a leading Midlands-based housebuilder, has announced the successful acquisition of three strategic land sites in the region.

The acquisitions mark a significant milestone for Owl Group, made up of house builder Owl Homes and affordable housing partner Owl Partnerships, as it expands its reach across the Midlands region.

The sites include a 61-home development near Nuneaton, Leicestershire. The 6.39-acre site has outline planning permission for a diverse range of one, two, three and four-bedroom homes. Out of the 61 homes, 36 will be available for private sale, while 25 will be designated as affordable homes.

The developer also secured a site in Bewdley, Worcestershire that will be home to 41 homes. 31 homes will be available for private sale, and the remaining 10 will be managed as affordable homes by social housing provider Citizen Homes.

The third site will be Owl Partnerships’ largest affordable housing project. Working in collaboration with Nottingham Community Housing Association, Owl Partnerships has acquired a former warehouse site in Leicestershire with full planning permission for the construction of 100 affordable homes. The site, located off Loughborough Road, presents an exciting opportunity to create a sustainable and vibrant residential community. The project will also include the construction of an associated new highway and extensive landscaping.

Dave Bradley, Managing Director of Owl Group and Owl Partnerships, said: “We are thrilled to have successfully acquired these three strategic land sites as they aligns perfectly with our vision for growth and our commitment to delivering exceptional housing solutions in the Midlands.”

“These acquisitions not only expand our presence in key areas but also allow us to bring our hallmark quality to more communities, both through private sale and affordable housing options. We are excited to embark on these projects and contribute to the development of sustainable and inclusive residential communities across the region.”
