For the right person, this is an opportunity to join our East Midlands team at an exciting stage and develop alongside the business.

With more developments coming through our pipeline, you’ll play an important role in taking our sites from planning through to construction, making sure the right technical information, approvals and designs are in place at the right time. You’ll take ownership of the technical delivery of your developments, working closely with our consultants and colleagues across Land, Planning, Commercial, Construction and Sales. It’s a role for someone who knows residential development, is comfortable taking responsibility and takes pride in getting the detail right.

What you’ll be doing

  • Taking responsibility for the technical delivery of residential developments from planning through to completion
  • Managing and coordinating architects, engineers and other external consultants
  • Preparing and managing technical programmes to support development and construction timescales

  • Monitoring consultant performance, technical budgets and delivery against programme
  • Helping maintain and develop Owl’s house types, technical standards and processes

What we’re looking for

You’ll already have good experience within the technical function of a housebuilder or residential developer, ideally at Technical Manager level or ready to take that next step. You’ll have:

Why Owl?

There’s a lot happening at Owl. We’re growing our presence across the Midlands, securing new land and bringing more developments through our pipeline. That growth is happening now, and we’re building the team we need to deliver it well. For the right person, it’s an opportunity to join an ambitious housebuilder at a point where you can make a real contribution to how we grow and how our developments are delivered.

Life at Owl
